These portraits were taken in Wasa or Vaaasa, Finland. The address of the Julia Widgren studio was 26 Handelsesplanaden Kauppapuistikko; it's still a valid address, but now is a medical center.

Julia Widgren was one of the first female photographers in Finland and operated this shop from 1860 until 1904.
