Harvest

Many farmers are hard at work harvesting their crops. I particularly love this photo of my great great grandfather Jacob Jensen (left) and his team harvesting near Hudson, South Dakota, on his homestead.

Jacob came over from Norway in 1869 with his wife Ingeborg and within 1 year, they had homesteaded on this land in Dakota Territory. I even have his receipts from annual sales of his crops. He was a very successful farmer.
