Unknown Man

I went looking today through corner's inquest files for the city of Chicago. I didn't find any clues to help solve the mystery at hand. What I did find, however, was a disturbing number of records of people killed by trains in the summer of 1902. Either accidentally or purposefully; some could not be determined.

For the man described below, there's no death certificate with his name, no Find A Grave memorial. We can say the same of our many elusive and distant ancestors.

I've heard it said that a person dies two times: the first is when their body dies, the second when their name is spoken for the last time. Whoever this man was, I wonder who last spoke his name.
