Also keep in mind that while different sites may have the same record, one of the sites might have the record image at a much better quality. For example, there is a great record set from Quebec that is very hard to read at one of the major sites (which also means that some of the names and dates are very badly transcribed and indexed). However, a lesser-known site has the same record set with crystal-clear image quality.
