There's some exciting news about the War of 1812 Pension File Digitization project.
Digitization was paused during Covid, but has now resumed with surnames starting with R. If you have ancestors who may have served and are in the latter part of the alphabet, you may have a pension packet for them in the next year. [Obviously the ones I need are names that start with R-, Sh-, T-, and W-.]
