Prior to starting a project:

•  We will determine your goal, what information you already know and where you’ve already researched. We want to take everything into account before we start so that we are not recreating what is already known and wasting valuable research time.

•  If this is a family tree project, we will ask to view an online tree if you have one in order to give you a more accurate price quote.

•  We will give you a quote. We charge $68/hr for all projects and do not have a minimum number of hours. All projects are fully customizable and you can add more hours at any point. We will not go beyond agreed upon hours without permission.

Our promise to you:

• We promise that we will treat your family’s memories as if they were our own as we work to uncover their stories.

•  We promise to work efficiently and ethically as we strive to do a fully exhaustive search in the time budgeted. Your project will remain confidential.

•  We promise to keep you updated during your project as to our progress.

•  We believe in affordable family history. If we do not believe your research goal is attainable, we will strive to alert you to that as soon as possible. We are open to payment in installments, as well.

 

Things to consider: ​

•  You may learn things that are contrary to what you have believed about your family relationships or we may disprove a family legend. Please be aware that this is possible in our research.

•  A family tree is never fully complete. There is always more to be found, especially at the rate that records continue to become digitized.
