Research Assistance

Microfilm.jpeg

We build many trees from scratch for clients who are interested in their family history but don't have the time or expertise.

However, we also work on specific research problems encountered by those who have more experience with genealogy but have reached a point at which they need some help.  Examples are:

  • Finding an obituary, place of death, or other specific details about a person, such as their location on a specific census.

  • Finding historical court or land records, including locating an ancestral home.

  • Working through "roadblocks."

We understand the joy of discovery that makes genealogy such an enjoyable and rewarding activity.  We therefore often help family researchers by assessing the information they already have and formulating a plan for where they can independently look next.
